Elizabeth and Walter Haley

Elizabeth Haley was very family oriented. Elizabeth's husband passed away when their daughter, Georgia, was three, leaving her to raise Georgia alone. Haley's father, Walter, helped Elizabeth a great deal in Georgia's upbringing. This is a photograph of Elizabeth and her brother Walter Jr., who was also a great help. Elizabeth was revered as an amazing mother who was extremely selfless. She loved her four grandchildren, who lovingly nicknamed her 'Big Mama.'
